The last time I went into the post office, I didn’t noticed that it had transformed. No longer do you go there for your posting needs, it now offers a wide range of services. One of which is: retail.
What really caught my attention was their use of technology, specifically QR codes & PayPal to create an actionable hardcopy brochure!
Typically a brochure is informational. The reader is fed with information (constrained by the brochure size & printing cost) and if he’s interested to transact, a trip to the store or e-store has to be made.
This simple use of technology allows the reader to buy immediately. Wonder why ain’t IKEA doing so with its hardcopy catalogue.
