I’ve a scenario whereby the user reported that he’d a task that is dormant and he wishes to delete but he couldn’t, also, the task is supposedly completed. So what I did was to check the dmi_queue_item table:
select * from dmi_queue_item where task_state = ‘dormant’ and sent_by = ‘Last Performer’ and task_subject like = ‘Task Name’
Once I located the entry, I update its delete_flag to ‘1’, rather than physically deleting the entry.
update dmi_queue_item objects set delete_flag = 1 where r_object_id = ”
This effectively removes the task from the user’s inbox.
